I know I say it a lot, but geez, I'm tired.
This week has been hectic. I've double booked my time so that I'm supposed to be in the clinic full time but I'm also supposed to be contracting full time. And since no one is actually around to see if I'm working or not, work suffers. I have to catch up somehow, but I'm even swamped on the weekend...it's all self imposed, I know.
Slowing down is one of the hardest things for me. A part of me wants to stop and take a break...but another has such a strong drive to go go go. So in the end, no one wins. I need to learn how to balance all of this...but I just don't know how.
Although things are a bit crazy, I'm really glad to do it. The clinic has been a lot of fun...Lynn said I was smart which puts me on cloud 9. =) Hard work does pay off! One of the cutest things I saw today was a labradoodle puppy...and though I roll my eyes at all the "designer mutts" like schnoodles or peek-a-poos, my god, this puppy was adorable. Great temperment, health benefits of being a mutt, and no shedding!
I dunno, maybe I can cut it as a smallies clinician. Those puppies steal my heart every time. =)
This weekend, more of the same. Next week, more of the same...
